Epatra Benelux, a leading Smart Office distributor in the Benelux region, announces that it has officially been acquired by Northamber, a prominent AV & IT distributor from the United Kingdom. The acquisition process, which began in October 2024, has now been completed. This marks an important step in Epatra’s growth strategy and long-term viability within the European market.

Northamber, a company that is both publicly traded and family-owned, sees Epatra Benelux as a strategic addition to its portfolio.
In 2024, Northamber acquired Tempura Communications Ltd., a specialist in unified communications and collaboration solutions. With Tempura being one of the largest distributors in Europe in this field, Northamber further expands its position in the technology and communication solutions market. The addition of Epatra Benelux to the group aligns with this broader strategy of growth and consolidation.

Future Plans and Continuity
Epatra Benelux will continue to operate from its current headquarters in Alblasserdam, as well as its other locations in Kontich and IJsselmuiden, which will remain unchanged. Existing activities and services to customers and partners will continue without interruption. Additionally, the expansion of Smart Office and ProAV will be actively pursued, as Arjan Dekker believes these segments are crucial to the company’s future.
